PowerPack Mini LokSound.
The new ESU PowerPack Mini can optionally be connected to all ESU decoders of the fourth generation (ie: LokPilot V4.0, LokPilot micro V4.0, LokSound Fx V4.0, LokSound V4.0, LokSound micro V4.0 or LokSound V4.0 M4) can be connected and reliably supplies your locomotive with energy when driving over dirt patches and long routes.
With the help of its energy store (with a capacity of 1 farad), both the noise and the light and motor functions are buffered and thus ensure that your models can continue to run without electricity for up to 3 seconds, depending on the power consumption.
The PowerPack Mini has an integrated charging circuit and is controlled by the decoder. It can therefore remain in the locomotive during programming. In addition, the charging current is limited to prevent excessive loading of your booster if several models are in use. The buffer time can be limited by means of a CV on the decoder side, so that red signals also lead to an exact signal stop.
Although significantly smaller than its predecessor, the space requirement of the PowerPack Mini of approx. 15.7 mm x 9.7 mm x 13 mm must be taken into account during installation. A 3-pin cable connection is required between the decoder and the PowerPack Mini. The cable is already soldered to the PowerPack Mini, but you have to solder it yourself on the decoder side.
