New for 2025: Diesel locomotive KM 4000 in the SP 9100 version. The original SP KM 4000 locomotives began their lives as almost identical triplets. But over the years they were changed and differed significantly from one another. The true-to-original PIKO replicas show the locomotives as they were in the mid-1960s and take into account the structural and color features. These include side air intake grilles, filter boxes and roof vents as well as exposed exhaust systems with flap valves. The locomotive also accurately reproduces the color features of the SP 9100. The powerful motor, in combination with the perfectly balanced flywheels, ensures that the machine runs smoothly. The various light functions are designed using the latest LED technology and can be easily switched digitally using a suitable decoder. The sound versions are factory-equipped with a sound decoder and matching loudspeaker. The locomotives do not have an NEM coupling shaft.
