The class V 160 or 216 was the express locomotive for lines without catenary wire on the German Federal Railroad in the 1960s and 1970s. Contemporary LED technology serves as the basis for the light change in red/white as well as the light functions that can be switched by retrofitting a digital decoder. The PluX22 digital interface according to NEM 658 is state of the art, and a decoder can easily be plugged in. The models for center conductor operation have a suitable decoder installed at the factory that can be used with the mfx® digital protocol. The buffer beam of the car can be completed prototypically with accessory parts that are included.
