New in 2024: The luxuriously equipped train sets of the Metropolitan Express Train (MET) were in use on the Cologne – Hamburg route between 1999 and 2004.

From the outside, the models impress with their elegant appearance, which is in no way inferior to that of the model. The perfectly flush, crystal-clear windows allow the view into the interior. All cars have an individual, suitably coordinated interior. Another highlight are the sharply engraved bogies and the detailed replica car floors. Plastic-looking engravings and prototypical paintwork with sharply contoured lettering round off the external impression perfectly. On the layout, the powerful BR 101 transports the wagon set smoothly over the tracks. All cars also have harmonious indirect interior lighting to create a harmonious ambience.
