The model of the legendary BR E16 electric locomotive impresses with a harmonious paintwork and printing as well as precise housing engravings and an exact detailed representation of the distinctive Buchli drives. In addition, the PIKO BR 116 has fine spoke wheel sets, which contribute to an authentic overall impression of the model with the filigree roof equipment, the pantographs and the extra handle bars. The locomotive has excellent running characteristics and high tractive forces for true-to-the-original train compositions. The model is equipped with a modern Next18 interface and shows the usual red/white light change. The PIKO model corresponds exactly to its model in shape, color and printing. With the factory-integrated sound decoder, which can handle the data formats DCC with RailComPlus®, Motorola®,Selectrix® and M4, an outstanding implementation as a sound locomotive has again been achieved with the electric locomotive of the BR 116.
