The directly attachable train control relay expands the control modules Art. 5224 and 5229 by the automatic train control, but can also be used separately. So the control modules can stop the trains automatically. This can be done either by switching off the traction current (separately for track and overhead line) or in digital mode even more prototypically by switching to the brake module Art. 5232 (for Märklin-Motorola) or a brake generator (for NMRA-DCC). For this purpose, the bistable train control relay has a 2-pole changeover switch, so the switch position is also maintained without power. The relays must be switched to minus.
